Anne Vittersten is a fantastic real estate broker with a strong business acumen and remarkable people skills. Extremely dynamic, full of life and with a great sense of humor, it is impossible not to enjoy her company. Over the years, Anne has built an important network of Scandinavian/English clients who have remained faithful, thanks to her expertise and absolute professionalism.
Originally from Norway, Anne possess a bachelor’s degree in business studies from the University of Oslo, a city where she worked in until she moved to the South of France in 2005. Anne has always been interested in architecture, construction, house planning and interior designing.
Before becoming a real estate broker Anne worked in various sectors such as marketing, headhunting, co-owning a business center and being the director of two shopping malls in Oslo. In parallel, she also ran her own retail company.
Today Anne lives next to the iconic village of Valbonne. Within the first few years of her life here, Anne had many visitors come and see her, some of which were also looking to invest in a property in the area. On their behalf she contacted several real estate agencies to pre-select properties and organise visits; and that is precisely how she met Jan-Erik Lilloe, the then CEO of Knight Frank French Riviera.
Back in those days the company was selling apartments, new built residences and villas. Thanks to her personal connections and network, she brought in many high-end prestigious villas for sale for Knight Frank; this in turn kick-started her real estate career within the company. Today she remains the longest standing member of staff with over 10 years in the company.

What values/interest you most share with Knight Frank ?
The qualities I rate the most as a real estate broker - qualities which are also personal values to me – are having high morals, honesty, decency and flexibility. It is also primordial to be a good listener, to have respect and, of course, the ability to close the deals.
Your most outstanding sales?
My first big sale was in 2013 when my Norwegian buyer bought a 6M euro property in Châteauneuf. And my quickest sale was in two week and at asking price for a property in the Castellaras area
What is the best memory you have at Knight Frank ?
The best times within the company is when everyone is brought together socially; especially that weekend when we danced all night in London and then missed the flight back the following day!!
